Schools Cricket

Primary school Playground league

Format:
  1. 8-a-side matches with eight (8) overs per side. One (1) over with six (6) balls only.
  2. There will be four (4) pairs of batsman and each pair will bat for two (2) overs.
  3. Each team can have two (2) reserved players for interchange in the field under the condition of injuries of the players. Reserved players cannot bowl or bat and can only field.

Round Robin Matches:

  1. Division 3 start at January
  2. Division 2 between  Feb and  March
  3. Finish Division 1 at April.
  4. Division three (3) starts the league first, once Division 3 has complete, Division two (2) will then start and followed by Division one (1) etc.
  5. The first (1st) & second (2nd) teams with highest league points in each Division will be qualified to continue playing in the Division above in the same year.
  6. The bottom two (2) teams within each Division will be dropped into theDivision below, and compete in the Division below in the following year.

Eligibility:

  1. The date of birth of the players should be on 1st January 2004 or after.
  2. All players must be registered to the Cricket Hong Kong.
  3. For any team member/s whom WITHOUT the Registration will not be allowed to play

Secondary School League

Senior Boys

The format for the CHK Secondary Schools League (Senior Boys) will be a Twenty20 competition played between two pools of 7 teams. The top two teams in each pool will contest the semi-finals with the winners of the semi-finals facing off in a Grand Final. The winner of the Grand Final will be the Secondary Schools League (Senior Boys) champion.

 

Junior Boys

The format for the CHK Secondary Schools League (Junior Boys) will be a Twenty20 competition played between two pools of 7 teams. The top two teams in each pool will contest the semi-finals with the winners of the semi-finals facing off in a Grand Final. The winner of the Grand Final will be the Secondary Schools League (Junior Boys) champion.

 

Girls

The format for the CHK Secondary Schools League (School Girls) will be a Twenty20 competition. Teams will play each other once after which the top two teams on the ladder will contest a Grand Final. The winner of the Grand Final will be the Secondary Schools League (School Girls) champion.
