Hong Kong to host Nepal in Round 6 of the ICC World Cricket League Championship

Hong Kong are set to host Nepal Cricket in Round 6 of the ICC World Cricket League Championship. Both matches will be played at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground on Friday 13th and Sunday 15th October, 2017.

Hong Kong are currently in 4th place of the 8 team tournament on 11 points with Nepal in 6th place on 8 points. There are 4 matches left to play covering Round 6 in Hong Kong and Round 7 in Dubai where Hong Kong will conclude their campaign v Papua New Guinea. 

The top 4 teams at the end of the 7 round format will move forward to the 2019 World Cup Qualifiers (Date/Location TBC). 

The bottom 4 teams will have a second bite at the cherry joining the top 2 teams from WCLC Division 2 in trying to obtain the final 2 places in the Qualifying tournament proceeding the 2019 World Cup which will be held in England.
