The first recorded evidence of cricket being played in Hong Kong dates back to 1841. Today, cricket is a fully-fledged sport that is professionally administered by Cricket Hong Kong and subvented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Competitions are organised throughout the year for all age groups - from primary school children to senior players.
