EPIC GROUP ANNOUNCED AS PRINCIPAL SPONSOR OF THE ALL STARS SERIES 2021

Cricket Hong Kong is excited to announce the EPIC Group as the principal sponsor and naming partner of the EPIC Group All Stars Series 2021, scheduled to be held at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground from the 26^th March 2021 – 3^rd April 2021.

The series will see Hong Kong’s international heroes and best domestic players battling it out across three brand new teams to become the All Stars Champions.

Recent government restrictions introduced due to Hong Kong’s 4^th Wave of Covid-19 have resulted in the closure of all team sports venues which has seen the event postponed from its original dates of 11^th December – 18^th December 2020 to new dates of 26^th March 2021 – 3^rd April 2021.

The Epic Group All Stars Series 2021

The three teams:

Each team represents one of the major districts in Hong kong:

• The Kowloon Lions: Represent Hong Kong's most populous district shadowed by Lion Rock.
• The New Territories Tigers: Pay homage to the wild Tigers that used to roam the hills of the New Territories.
• The Hong Kong Islanders: Represent Hong Kong's most distinctive landmarks.

The format of the series:

The T20 series will see all three teams compete across 2 days, playing 3 round-robin matches followed by a grand final. The winner takes all!

The 50 over competition will see the teams re-drafted with the Hong Kong Islanders taking on the Kowloon Lions in a best of 3 series.

Friday 26^th March

• 9 am start: Kowloon Lions vs New Territories Tigers
• 2 pm start: Hong Kong Islanders vs Kowloon Lions

Saturday 27^th March:

• 9 am start: New Territories Tigers vs Hong Kong Islanders
• 2 pm start: FINAL

Epic Group All Stars 50 over series:

• 9 am start: Tuesday 31^st March: Hong Kong Islanders vs Kowloon Lions
• 9 am start: Thursday 2^nd April: Kowloon Lions vs Hong Kong Islanders
• 9 am start: Saturday 3^rd April: Hong Kong Islanders vs Kowloon Lions
