Hong Kong, China Women's Team to Compete in First T20I Series against the Netherlands, Led by New Captain Natasha Miles

Cricket Hong Kong, China is thrilled to announce that the Hong Kong, China Women's Team is set to participate in their first-ever T20I series against the Netherlands Women's Cricket Team. The series, comprising four exciting T20I matches, will take place from 17th June 2024, with matches on 17th, 18th and 19th June 2024. All games will be played at Kampong Cricket Ground in Utrecht. The team will arrive in the Netherlands on 11th June 2024 and will play two warm-up matches before the series.

Cricket Hong Kong, China would also like to thank Kary Chan for her years of dedication as the captain of the Hong Kong, China Women’s Team. Under the leadership of newly appointed captain Natasha Miles, the Hong Kong, China Women's Team is eager to showcase their skills and make a mark in international cricket. This inaugural T20I series against the Netherlands presents a significant opportunity for the Hong Kong, China Women's Team to gain exposure and experience of playing in different conditions. The matches will provide a platform for the players to test their abilities against a formidable opponent and further hone their skills.

The Hong Kong, China Women's Team has been diligently preparing for this series, focusing on their physical fitness, technical prowess, and strategic approach. The coaching staff, led by Andy Cottam and assisted by Najeeb Amar has been working closely with the players to ensure they are well-prepared and ready to compete at the highest level. Coach Andy Cottam expressed his excitement about the upcoming series, stating, "This is a significant milestone for the Hong Kong, China Women's Team as we step into the world of international T20 cricket. The players have been training hard and are ready to take on the challenge. We are confident that they will give their best and make the home fans proud."
