As part of its on-going preparations for the ACC Under-19 Women's Championships in Singapore and the 16th Asian Games in Guangzhou, a large squad of players from the Hong Kong Women's Cricket Team and the Hong Kong Under-19 Women's Cricket Team traveled to Guangzhou in August 2010 to play a series of Twenty20 format matches against teams particiating in the Chinese National Women's Cricket Tournament. Matches were played at the brand new Guangzhou Cricket Stadium, venue for the Asian Games cricket tournament.
