Premier League T20
This weekend sees the Premier League T20 competition get underway – all of Hong Kong’s best cricketers taking part in a 5-team round-robin league contest! Round 1 sees the Independents take on HKCC at HKCC, and DLSW DLT take on PACC at Mission Road, both games taking place on Sunday afternoon. Be sure to drop by the grounds to show your support!
Saturday Championship
Another five games scheduled for this Saturday. In Division 1, the HKCC Nomads will look to keep up their good form when they play host to DLSW Sarjan, the KCC Saracens face off against the KCC Tartars in another exciting KCC derby, and USRC/MCC will look to remain unbeaten against a tough PACC outfit at GDB. In Division 2, the Centaurs face CCC Hung See in what should be an exciting mid-table battle at PKVR Park, while the SCC Lancers face off against HKCC Witherers at Mission Road in a battle for promotion.
Under-17
Two Premier Division 35-Over League games scheduled for this weekend at Mission Road. On Saturday the unbeaten HKCC Nomads will take on the unbeaten DLSW Tigers in what should be a rehearsal of the Grand Finals that these two sides will be taking part in on Feb 17th. And on Sunday, PACC take on KCC for bragging rights and looking to end their 35-over season strong.
Under-15
Under 15 cricket resumes this weekend as KCC take on PACC on Sunday afternoon at GDB in a Premier Division 30-over league game. KCC have yet to play a game in this format, while PACC’s opening game was a thrilling tie against the HKCC Optimists. Plenty to look forward to this weekend.
Under-13
Lots of Under 13 cricket scheduled for this weekend. On Saturday at PKVR Reservoir, PACC will play HKCC Scorpions in a Premier Division clash, followed by the KCC Buccaneers taking on the HKCC Optimists in a Elite Division game. Then on Sunday in the Premier division, DB Smashers White play KCC Crusaders at KCC and LMC play USRC Premier at KGV, followed by DLSW Tigers playing India Club Green in the Elite division at KGV as well. As we get closer to the finals, every point matters, so expect some hard fought games to take place.
Under-11
And finally, we have more of the Under-11 Championship taking place this weekend. At HKCC two of the newest teams to join the league face off, when the Strikers play the Rhinos. And at PKVR Reservoir, we have plenty of cricket across all three pools. At 8 AM, the DLSW Littles play the HKCC Eagles while the DB Smashers Blue take on the KCC Wasps. Then, the DLSW Kangaroos play DB Smashers Red while the HKCC Cobras play India Club Blue. And finally, the DLSW Cheetahs play the HKCC Sharks and the USRC Avengers play the KCC Bees. It’s just the third week of the Championship, so plenty up for grabs, and strong results here will go a long way to making it to Finals Day.
