Kuwait vs Hong Kong
Hong Kong won toss and elected to bowl

Looking for a change in their fortunes, Hong Kong came up against newcomers Kuwait on a fresh wicket on AIT. Hong Kong made 2 changes with Alison Siu and Maryam Bibi in for Bella Poon and Annie Ho. Fresh from winning her second coin toss in a row, Mariko Hill chose to put Kuwait in to bat.
Kuwait openers Maryam Omar, the Kuwait Captain, and Sabreen Zaki came up against the veteran pairing of Mariko Hill and Betty Chan . Hill almost got a wicket on the first ball, however a drop at point gave Zaki a lifeline. Her partner didn’t receive such luck as she was caught a few inches off the ground by Marina Lamplough at Mid On.
Betty Chan quickly got into the game as well, securing the 2nd wicket with Zaki with a skyed catch to Yasmin Daswani at cover.
