Every single ticket has been sold out for the DTC Hong Kong T20 Blitz more than 24 hours before the first ball is due to be bowled.
The Tin Kwong Recreation Ground holds only 1500 including officials and staff but the general public have swooped on tickets which went on sale less than three weeks ago.
"This is a tremendous result and shows the potential of this tournament to grow the sport in Hong Kong," said Tournament Chief Max Abbott.
"Although we do hate having to tell people they can't come into the ground and watch - we wish we could fit more!"
"Hopefully it will help our case for having a bigger facility in the future."
Fans wanting to see some cricket can still come to the Friday afternoon fixture, which starts at 3pm or watch it via LIVE streaming on the Hong Kong Cricket's YouTube page.
