Hong Kong's journey to the 2023 Men's World Cup begins in Oman, where they will compete in the ICC CWC Challenge League Group B 2019. This is the first of three Challenge League B tournaments to be held over the next three years. At the conclusion of the three tournaments, the team with the most points will progress to the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off in 2022.
The format for the tournament is 50 overs and will involve six countries; Italy, Bermuda, Jersey, Kenya, Uganda and Hong Kong. The six countries will play each other once throughout the tournament. All matches will receive List A status.
