Match 3 – Kowloon Cricket Club vs United Services Recreation Club
Sunday 8th
September 2019 – Kowloon Cricket Club – 2:00 PM start

Just 30 minutes after Match 2 of the CHK Premier League T20 gets underway at HKCC, Match 3 will be set to kick off at the Kowloon Cricket Club. USRC will look to bounce back from their disappointing performance against PACC last weekend, while KCC will look to start strong in their challenge for the title.
Bolstered by the signing of Nizakat Khan, KCC will look to improve on their 3rd place finish last season, with a team that looks to cover all bases. Nizakat joins his HK national squad teammate Jamie Atkinson and Aizaz Khan in KCC’s batting order, with Waqas Barkat, Simandeep Singh and Matt Stiller all having played as batsmen for the HK national side during their careers. Former HK Wicketkeeper/Batsman Mo Khan, minor-counties allrounder Richard Waite (also former HK Women’s head coach) and club regular Devang Bulsara will help provide depth in the batting. Oxford Universities spinner Dan Pascoe will lead the spin attack, with wicketkeeper-turned-legspinner Waqas Barkat providing him support. The pace attack could be the most impressive in the competition – Aizaz Khan being backed up by former national squad member Ashley Caddy, Namibian fast bowler Jason Davidson, and young HK prospect Suhaib Ahmed. They will be well supported by medium pacers Atheeq Iqbal and Mohammad Ali – both of whom have topped club wicket-taking charts in past seasons. A strong side with plenty of resources, they will be lead by the experienced former HK national squad captain Jamie Atkinson.
As for USRC, they are likely to be without their top-scorer from the last game - Akbar Khan suspended on account of a Code of Conduct violation. They might look to youngster Daniyal Butt, wicketkeeper Upal Rupasinghe, or big hitter Jahangeer Mohammad to bolster their batting.
This match will be live streamed (without commentary) on KCC’s YouTube page. CricHQ Fan Premium and Fan All Access subscribers can watch this game live via the CricHQ website as well, with lives scores available on both CricHQ and Cricinfo.
