Cricket Hong Kong will host Malaysia in a 5-match T20i series from the 18^th February to the 21^st February at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground.

The 5-match series will carry T20i status and will form a valuable part of both nations’ preparations for the ACC Men’s Eastern Region T20 Tournament in Thailand from the 29^th February 2020.

The finalists from the Eastern Region tournament will qualify for the Asia Cup Qualifiers with the winner of that tournament earning the right to compete at the 2020 Asia Cup.

CHK High Performance Manager had this to say, “Hong Kong and Malaysia have had a long history of competing against each other, we are incredibly excited to be hosting Malaysia and continuing to build on our long-standing relationship.”

“The series will provide great preparation for both sides in the lead up to the ACC Eastern Region Tournament which is an important first step in qualifying for the Asia Cup later in the year.”
