Match 7 – Diasqua Little Sai Wan Cricket Club DLIT vs Pakistan Association Cricket Club
Sunday 22nd September 2019 – Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground – 1:30 PM start

Two of Hong Kong's biggest club rivalries are set to take place this weekend, with Diasqua Little Sai Wan Cricket Club taking on Pakistan Association Cricket Club at Tin Kwong Road, while the Hong Kong Cricket Club plays the Kowloon Cricket Club at HKCC!

Pakistan Association Cricket Club have looked like the side to beat, with two dominant displays to start off their competition. They will look to make it 3 in 3 when they come up against Diasqua Little Sai Wan DLIT, who have seen it all so far - victory, defeat, and even a tied game! However, their record stands at just 2 points from 3 matches, and even a win here will not be sufficient for them to top the table.

This match does have plenty of significance for PACC though. Both PACC and KCC are unbeaten thus far, and both will be determined to pick up a win this weekend in order to take some of the pressure off from their game on 29th September. Just like last season, the result of this competition could hinge on the very last game, essentially turning the KCC vs PACC match into a final!

But before we get there, both PACC and KCC need to get through this weekend first. PACC have looked good with the ball -if a bit generous with extras- and destructive with the bat. In Ehsan Nawaz, Tanwir Afzal, Babar Hayat and Yasim Murtaza they have the most destructive top order in the competition. Daniyal Bukhari looked in good touch at HKCC, and the likes of Zeeshan Ali, Hamed Khan and Nusrullah Rana haven't even been required yet. The firepower of the PACC batting will be tested though, when they come across the young and talented DLSW bowling attack. They were impressive in defending just 153 against HKCC, and were nearly flawless against USRC. However, they did get taken for 87 runs in under 10 overs by Nizakat and Aizaz Khan at KCC, though one can point to the lack of scoreboard pressure there as being one of the key factors.

The PACC bowling has looked sharp as well, keeping USRC to just 85, and HKCC to 128. They will fancy their chances against DLSW DLIT's batting lineup, given that only Waqas Khan has scored more than 60 runs combined across all three innings so far. His 68* against USRC is also the only fifty-plus score for a DLSW DLIT batsman this competition, with the next highest being 38. DLSW DLIT will need their batsmen to deliver this Sunday if they are going to pull of the win.

Another interesting fact to note - DLSW DLIT have bowled second all three of their PLT20 game so far (electing to do so twice after winning the toss), while PACC have batted second in both their games (including after winning the toss at HKCC). This suggests that who wins the toss might be irrelevant come this Sunday.

Unfortunately this game will not be live streamed, but live scores will be available on Cricinfo and CricHQ, with regular updates being provided during our coverage of HKCC vs KCC. So be sure to tune in to follow the game and show your support!
