Premier League T20

We're into the final week of the CHK Premier League T20, adn we end it with two cracking games! At HKCC, the hosts will face off against USRC as the two teams battle for pride and attempt to end their competition on a strong note. But meanwhile, at KCC, we have the biggest game of the season yet. Both PACC and KCC have been unbeaten so far, and will go head to head to decide the champion in the final game of the PLT20! This winner-takes-all clash will be broadcast via our Facebook and YouTube pages, so be sure to tune in and catch the action!

The long weekend means plenty of Saturday League cricket, with a total of 7 games scheduled! In Division 1 five teams will be playing their first games of the season, while USRC and PACC play their third. In Division 2, the Pioneers and Borrelli Walsh Centaurs will be looking for their first wins, while the SCC Lancers look to go 3-0 when they face off against HKU CC. Plenty of exciting cricket awaits us, and it will be interesting to see how the points tables look after this weekend.

The Women's T20 League resumes this weekend, with the national squad back from the East Asia Cup, and PKVR Reservoir ground back open and running! The popular SCC Divas are set to play their first game of the season, with newcomers APCC Women scheduled for two games over the weekend. The KCC Maidens vs CCC Fung Wong game will be one to keep an eye on, with both sides unbeaten thus far, while all three of the DLSW Wasps, HKCC Cavaliers and HKCC Willow Wielders will be looking to bounce back strongly after their recent losses.

Competition in the U15 T20 League is beginning to heat up, and this weekend will be influential in determining which teams make it to the semi-finals! The HK Women's side returns from a 2nd-place finish at the East Asia Cup, and will look to make it 3 wins in 3 games when they play DB Smashers Gold on Saturday. The KCC Typhoons U15 are undefeated as well, and will look to keep that run going when they play the USRC Gunners U15 on Tuesday. At one win a piece, all three of DB Smashers Gold, DLSW Tigers U15 and USRC Gunners U15 are on each other's tail for a spot in the semis, and will be looking to pull ahead of the rest of the pack. In the Elite Division, the Lantau Lions U15 and LMC U15 have looked like two of the best sides in the league - their game on 1st October will be one to keep an eye on.

More cricket for the U13s this weekend, with games being played at PKVR Reservoir and DB North Plaza, in addition to the regular four fixtures at KGV! The HKCC Scorpions U13 will make the trip over to Discovery Bay on Tuesday to play DB Smashers White U13, with both sides starting off the competition on winning notes. At PKVR Reservoir, USRC Gunners U13 will look to pick up their first win when they play APCC Green U13 at the same ground that saw them emerge as champions last season. AT KGV, the we should have an exciting game between the KCC Crusaders U13 and PACC U13, while the competition heats up in the Elite Pairs division, with the APCC Sky Warriors U13 and HKCC Wanders U13 both coming off losses while KCC Buccaneers U13 and HKCC Optimists U13 are both coming off wins.

The Under-11 League kicks off Saturday morning at PKVR Reservoir, with 8 pairs-cricket games, and one game scheduled for Tuesday at Discovery Bay! With 24 teams competing across 3 pools, there Under-11 League provides plenty of opportunity for kids around Hong Kong to enjoy the sport!

Challenge League

Sunday 29th Sept – Division 3 – DLSW Master Blasters vs HKU Students – GDB – 02:30 PM

And finally, another game in the Challenge League is scheduled for this Sunday, with the HKU Students taking on DLSW Master Blasters in Division 3. The HKU Students are coming off a loss in their opening fixture, and will look to get the jump on the Master Blasters, who are playing their first game of the season.
