Hong Kong U16s to compete in Belt And Road T20 Series in China!

The Hong Kong Under 16 squad is currently in Shandong, China for the Inaugural Belt and road China Under 16 Boys Cricket T20 Tournament, 2019.

The format for the tournament is T20 and will involve five countries; China, Hong Kong China, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Thailand. The competition will run in a round robin format with each team playing each other once.

Under 16 head coach Mark Farmer had this to say: This is an exciting group of players that will benefit greatly from the exposure to international cricket. Many of the players having had experience in the ACC Under 16 Eastern Region Tournament last year which will be invaluable in understanding how to approach tournament cricket.”
