Hong Kong U19 Squad Announcement for ACC Men’s U19 Premier Cup

Cricket Hong Kong, China are pleased to announce the 14 player squad to represent Hong Kong at the upcoming ACC Men’s U19 Premier Cup 2023, which will be held in Malaysia between 12 October to 24 October 2023.

The tournament will be played in a 50-overs format with 16 teams divided into 4 groups. The top 4 teams after the group stage will proceed to the semi-finals and the top 3 from the knockout stage will qualify for the U19 Asia Cup 2023. Hong Kong, China have been drawn with Indonesia, Malaysia, and Japan in Group D.

“We have got a talented squad of youngsters covering all bases” said Cricket Hong Kong, China’s Pathways Coach Mark Farmer. “We are excited for this tournament as it is a great opportunity for our young players to step up and potentially make it into the Asia Cup later this year.”

Burji Shroff, Chairperson, Cricket Hong Kong, China said, “We have a talented group of youngsters who have a great opportunity to showcase their skills against strong international teams. Our U16s and U19s are the future and CHK is committed to providing them all support necessary to develop and break into the national side over the years. I wish the team the very best of luck for the tournament.”
